I was planning on getting some panaramic shots, I don't have a tri-pod so I was going to use one of the fence posts, however an over curious kitty intervened. I'm not sure if I'll be returning to daily pictures yet. I have a lot of ideas, but haven't been able to go anywhere to take new shots. Will try and keep you posted :}

Another snapshot from the camera phone. Again I apologise for the low resolution :( Just like the other cell phone shot, I really like this, just a shame it was taken on a 1 megapixel phone rather than a 6 megapixel DC.

Adelaide, Rundle Mall. This stood out to me while I was waiting around the other night, so I decided to snap it with my phones 1.3 mega pixel camera. It's a shame I didn't have the digital camera with me, so I apologise for the low resolution, but what can you do ^^

Another picture in the series that started yesterday. It's my first go at photographing in this light so it's a bit of a learning curve for me. I spotted the mosquito's hovering about and thought it would be nice to get them in-frame.

Whenever possible I will try and avoid using cheesy art/emo titles for the photographs that will appear on this blog. Mainly because I'm not that creative, but also because I hate people that do that.

Flowers are a popular choice for macro photography but I've never seen one captured from this angle before. Some of the shot is out of focus, but I'll chalk that up to lack of know how with the camera and auto focus.

Hello and welcome to my photo blog. This little corner of the internet will be my personal scrap book of sorts for what I hope will turn out to be some enjoyable photography. I hope you enjoy it, and please leave a comment with any advice, queries or critiques.

Now to todays photograph! It's been a long time since I've taken much more than a snapshot on a camera phone so this one is just a warm up, cracking ones knuckles so to speak. Not only does it signify the advent of this photo blog, but also the purchase of a digital camera. And so we have this picture. Macro photography can be quite fascinating, but this is no more the result of any artistic finesse on my part than it is the giddy eagerness to try out a new toy. And there you have it. I like the way it turned out, and I hope someone else shares my feelings. Anyway, I promise I'll keep these blurbs shorter in the future.
